Philippe PERDRIX

Romain GRANDJEAN Partner, 38. After several successful entrepreneurial experiences in Africa and in the media, Romain founded 35°Nord in 2012 to improve his clients press relations and editorial influence. He believes that Africa’s emergence, embodied by its economic success and new governance, should gain better visibility via strong relations between the media and economic operators. Romain combines expertise in both the media industry and the African continent . Romain Grandjean is graduate in media management from ESCP Europe.

Philippe PERDRIX Partner, 48. Philippe gather many years of experience in the media in Africa where he founded a radio station in Burundi, anchored for Radio France Internationale (RFI) and finally became assistant editor-in-chief at Jeune Afrique. Convinced that Africa, France, and Europe’s share a common destiny, he believes in the the development of a new narrative established by a generation of African and European decision-makers via the leading media. As a cofounder of 35°Nord, Philippe provides his clients with solid expertise on African political and economic contexts. He helps them with developing as well as publicizing their advocacy efforts. Philippe Perdrix is a graduate in law and journalism.

  • Quentin RUFFAT
    Consulting Director

    Quentin holds a double degree in Literature and Political Philosophy from Sorbonne University and a master’s degree in Political Science from the University of East Anglia. For two and a half years, he was Constance Le Grip’s parliamentary assistant, in charge of the Constitutional Affairs, Legal Affairs and Women's Rights Committees. In 2017, he joined Havas Paris, as a Senior Consultant and then Consulting Director. Quentin is specialized in public affairs, press relations and crisis communication, supporting various clients - private and institutional sectors. He is also a member of the Think Tank Fondapol. Quentin joined 35°Nord in 2019 as Consulting Director with responsibility for managing various accounts and developing the agency. He is also in charge of EurAfrica. | e-mail:

  • Adrien LORILLER
    Business development director

    Graduated from ESG Paris. After a first experience in economic intelligence, he joined Vae Solis, a communication strategy consulting firm, as consulting director. Adrien is specialized in crisis communication and press relations and has managed various clients in the health, wine, football and weapons sectors. He currently teaches at Sciences Po Lille, EFAP and ESG, and occasionally at ESSEC business school. Adrien is also a young auditor of the Institute of HigherNational Defense Studies (IHEDN). He joined 35 ° North in 2019 with missions to manage different accounts and the development of the agency. |

  • Clothilde Mbock Mbock
    Senior Consultant

    Clothilde is a 29-year-old Sciences Po Lille (France) and Kent University (UK) graduate in Public & Corporate Communications, Politics & International Relations. Clothilde started off her career as a policy officer at Le Cercle de l’Industrie – the professional organisation charged to represent and promote the industry in France. In 2016, Clothilde joined Parisian communications agency Vae Solis Communications where she specialised in press relations, risk prevention and crisis management notably. There, she assisted various key-player clients in sectors such as energy, transportation, healthcare and retail. As a senior consultant at 35°Nord, Clothilde will manage several corporate clients. |

  • Candice Tisserand
    Senior Consultant

    Candice graduated in 2013 from NEOMA BS. She has started her career in France at the Legal and Administrative Information Department, and the Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs, before joining Member of the European Parliament Rachida Dati's team. She was in charge of international relations (North Africa, Arabic Peninsula), legislative analysis and monitoring, press relations and communication. Within 35°Nord, her missions will include the supervision and 360° animation of corporate client accounts and the development of the communication and public affairs offer on the European and African scope, Eurafrica. |

  • Samy GHORBAL
    Senior Consultant

    Graduated from Sciences Po Paris in 1997 with a master’s in political studies. As a specialist in the Maghreb and Sub-Saharan Africa, he worked for the weekly magazine Jeune Afrique from 2000 to 2009 and from 2014 to 2017. After the Tunisian Revolution of 2011, Samy became the advisor to Ahmed Najib Chebbi in Tunisia. He later joined the public relations consulting firm Rivington in Paris as the international manager. Samy has been providing his expertise to 35°Nord’s institutional clients, public service division, and policies division since 2018. | e-mail:

  • Aunel LOUMBA

    Graduated from Sciences Po Aix and the Institute of International Relations Studies (ILERI) in international relations and economic intelligence. He began his career as a consultant in a public affairs firm in Madrid before joining the Jeune Afrique group and then Le Club des juristes, a think tank where he coordinated the production of experts' reports and organized press relations. He is also a member of the Russian ministry of Foreign Affairs' Programme for Young African Entrepreneurs.   • Anne de POTIER
    Office Manager

    Graduated from Paris II with a master’s in econometrics. In 1987, she became the consulting manager for Havas Media, and in 1998, she created the Skyrock advertising agency, where she was the general manager until 2006. She then became the general manager of Régie Obs (Le Nouvel Observateur, Challenges, and Sciences et Avenir) and also helped relaunch the new France Soir in 2010. In 2012, Anne founded Medianne, the advertising agency for France Culture’s magazine, Rose Magazine et Papiers. She became 35°Nord’s office manager in 2017. | e-mail:

  • Priscillia ABEREKO
    Priscillia ABEREKO

    She holds a Master's degree in Journalism from the Sorbonne and an MBA in Political Communication, Lobbying and Public Affairs from HEIP. Priscillia began her professional career as a political journalist for the TV channel Public Sénat, before working for the digital communication agency Reputation Squad where she handled a portfolio of clients based in Africa and the Middle East. She joined 35°Nord in 2019 to reinforce the digital department and work on digital strategy and social media. |

  • Goudet ABALE

    Goudet is a student in geopolitics at Sciences Po Lille and in international economics at Johns Hopkins University. Goudet completed several internships in public affairs in France (National Assembly, LREM parliamentary cabinet) and in Ivory Coast (Cabinet of the Ministry of Justice) before joining 35 ° North for his gap year. Goudet vice-chaired the Sciences Po Lille Model United Nations (MUN) association, after winning 2 jury prizes at MUNs at Harvard University (Boston, USA).   • Leonore MASCARELL

    Leonore just graduated from ESSEC Business School in December 2019 after a two years apprenticeship contract in Deloitte’s CSR department. She joined 35°Nord for her end-of-studies internship. Among other things, she dedicated her final thesis on the effectiveness of public-private partnerships in addressing food insecurity in the sub-Saharian agri-food sector.

  • Léonard LIFAR
    Senior Consultant

    Léonard joined the team in 2017 to advise institutional and corporate clients in the mining, farming, and capital investment sectors. As a student at Paris Dauphine University (master’s) and Sciences Po Rennes, he worked with several think tanks specializing in geopolitics and security/defense. In 2015, he joined the Business France office in South Africa before joining the public affairs consulting firm GPLUS Europe.   • Audrey Ngoh Dad

    Audrey joined 35 °Nord as a consultant, after stints at McKinsey & Company and Vae Solis Communications. She will support our corporate clients in managing their public relations. Audrey has also worked for Natixis Assurances for one year. She graduated from Paris Dauphine University in Law and Public Affairs |

  • Justine Majeune
    Senior Consultante

    Justine is a graduate of CELSA at the Sorbonne University in Paris, with over six years of experience in Social Media and Influence. Justine’s most recent post was as an Account Manager at Reputation Squad, based in their Paris headquarters. Her duties included managing an array of clients in the banking, finance, health, and science industries. Prior to this, Justine worked as a project manager at Ogilvy, managing the social media accounts of and providing support to large corporations. She has also worked as a press officer at the French Ministry of Environment. She teaches crisis communication at CELSA (Paris Sorbonne). She joined 35°Nord in 2020 to accompany the agency and its clients on the changes in the digital world |

  • Maeva KPADONOU

    She graduated from the Universities Panthéon-Assas and Panthéon-Sorbonne in African Law and International Economic Law. Maeva has completed several internships in law firms (Cabinet Grossmann) and in the legal department of companies (Togo Telecom). After working for the editorial staff of Décideurs magazine and the communication strategy firm Vae Solis Communications, she joined 35°Nord to assist corporate and financial sector clients in the management of their public relations. |
